Pruna - opinia
Pruna is a well appointed small town with plenty of bars/restaurants open most of the time.
There are also shops, bakeries, pharmacy, general stores and a co-operative supermarket, also a medical centre. This is a small town and the facilities are small local businesses but have just about everything you would need to service your holiday, of course, if you require more choice Olvera a larger town about 20 mins drive would give you this.
The people in Pruna were very welcoming and though we can not speak Spanish, we managed to make ourselves understood or someone would come along and help us out.
Pruna is well placed for visiting Ronda, Jerez, Savilla, Granada for some culture, Lobo Park the wolf sanctuary well worth a visit.
Good walking area, the local women would form groups and about 6.30 pm would walk up the hill to the small white church at the top of the hill chatting and exercising all at the same time (it's a woman thing!!).
The coast is a decent drive away and we didn't feel the need to travel so can't say we can comment on time to visit coastal areas, we were happy exploring the surrounding area.
Pruna suited our needs of a relaxed, friendly, small local facilites type of place. Prices in the surrounding area were very reasonable, much cheaper then coastal areas. Great time had by both of us.
