Real de Gandia - opinia

Real de Gandia is not 'resort' Spain; it's closer to 'real' Spain. Don't expect hot and cold running English speakers! That reality can mean better value in shops and restaurants although you must be sure to acquaint yourself with local dishes! It is also likely that you will encounter Valencian as the first language. If people are asking for 'Birra' rather than Cerveza, it's Valencian!


Costa de Valencia - opinie

It is a lovely coast and without the curse of overdevelopment that you encounter further south. Playa de Gandia is a holiday resort but it is on 'human'scale; the restaurants tend to be family-run and they give a sense of caring. The sea is clean and the beaches are patrolled.
