This is a large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with about 120m2 living space, which borders Avenida del Pino, the main street of Pinar de Campoverde. Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants.
The living area is open plan with the kitchen divided from the large dining area by a breakfast bar. There are steps down to the lounge with L shaped leather sofa, open fireplace, English satellite TV, and DVD player.
Also on the ground floor are 2 good size bedrooms and a full bathroom with shower over the bath.
Bedroom 1 has a 2 single beds plus a comfortable folding chair/ bed. There is a large wardrobe with drawers under, plus a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2 has king size double bed, wardrobe with drawers and chair.
At the back of the house is a utility area with second refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, storage area and a spiral staircase leading to the first floor. (The spiral stairs could be dangerous for small children)
Upstairs is a bright sunny room, which opens onto the solarium. There is a table with 4 chairs inside and sun-chairs for the solarium, which is south facing, sheltered and completely private, with views of the surrounding area.
The master bedroom is very large (16m2), with twin beds, wardrobe storage unit and bedside nightstands.
It opens onto a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the evening sun and watch the sunsets. The upstairs bathroom is spacious, fully tiled, with bath and shower and plenty of storage space. Water is heated on demand by a separate gas boiler, so a hot shower is always available.
Outside is a small front garden with a large palm tree and parking space. The area beside the house is walled for privacy. There is a 7m x 4m oval pool with tiled surround and a large built in BBQ with table and chairs for dining by the pool. The pool has a chlorine free system, much healthier for your skin.
The house is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses, saucepans etc.
No pets and no smoking in the house please.
Pinar de Campoverde is an established Spanish village set on a wooded hillside, 8 kms inland with views to the Mediterranean. It is less crowded than the more developed areas towards Torrevieja, with mainly large detached homes and year-round residents, many of who are British or German. There is new urbanisation around the village, which has encouraged new shops and restaurants.
The centre of Pinar de Campoverde is a short walk and has several bars, restaurants, supermarket, bank etc. There is a small street market on Sunday mornings. On the other side of the village is the famous Natural Area “Rio Seco” where you can walk along the (usually dry!) bed of the river, which has carved a spectacular gorge. Near Rio Seco there is also a 20,000m2 sports area with several tennis courts, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool.
The nearest town is Pilar de la Horadada, where you can join the AP-7 Alicante-Cartegena Autoroute or access the beaches of the Mediterranean. There are about 4kms of sandy beaches stretching from El Mojon to Mil Palmeras, including a small, pretty cove at Torre de la Horadada where there is also a Marina. This is a 15 minute drive from the house.
20 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) Airport, or less than 1 hour from Alicante. It is worth arranging a hire car for your stay.
